Central High is located in Government Plaza. Government Plaza is one of several development districts identified in Springfield's Vision 20/20 plan for urban development. The Jordan Valley concept plan will create acres of greenspace and pathways between major downtown districts. The Jordan Valley concept plan can be accessed on Springfield's website. The website includes a graphic depiction of what the connector links could look like when completed. The link is provided below.

MSU maintains a website on the "Idea Commons". Here is the link. http://www.missouristate.edu/ideacommons/about.htm
Conclusion
Work Study programs for Central High students could possibly be linked to MSU's "Idea Commons". Central High students could be mentored by Idea Commons designers, artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Central High could also tailor some work study programs to create a career path into MSU's Idea Commons for high school students.
